Matthew
7:13-14, 15-23, 24-27
Enter
in at the strait gate: for wide
is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and
many there be which go in thereat: Because
strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life
(Eternal
Life),
and few there be that find it.
(parallel passage Luke 13:24)
Beware
of false prophets (for
us these are
pastors, teachers and
evangelists),
which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening
wolves.
You
will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or
figs of thistles?
Even
so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings
forth evil (wicked,
vial, vain)
fruit.
A
good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither
a
corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every
tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn (cut)
down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore
by their fruits you shall know them.
(parallel passage Deuteronomy 13:1-3, Jeremiah 14:14-16, 23:14-16;
Luke 6:43-44, Mark 13:21-23, those
spoken of here are the Religious men and women bond in the worlds
Religions, as they are elsewhere)
Not
every one that says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven;
but he that does the Will of My Father which is in heaven.
Many
will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
Your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name
done many wonderful works?
Then
will I profess (declare)
to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity.
(this
is the worlds Apostate church in which all wickedness and lawlessness
is found*)
(parallel passage Hosea 8:2, Luke 13:25-27)
Therefore
whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him
to a wise man, which builds his house upon a rock:
And
the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blow, and beat
upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And
every one that hears these sayings of Mine, and does them not, shall
be likened to a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And
the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat
upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it (*).
(parallel passage Luke 6:47-49, John 6:46-49)
Luke
9:1-2, 55-62
Then He called His twelve disciples together, and gave them power
and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And
sent them to preach (proclaim)
the kingdom of God,
and to heal (to
bring to them Salvation)
the sick.(parallel passages Matthew 10:5-15, Mark 6:7-13)
He
turned, and rebuked them, saying, You
know not what manner of spirit you are of. For
the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save
(protect,
heal and to restore and deliver from the evils that obstruct from
Salvations reception).
They went to another village. And it came to pass, that, as they went
in the way, a certain man
asked of Him, Lord, I will follow You where so ever You go. Jesus
said to him, Foxes
have holes, and birds of the air
nests;
but the Son of man has not where to lay
His
head.
He said to another, Follow
me.
But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus
said to him, Let
the dead bury their dead: but go and preach the
kingdom of God.
Another also said, Lord, I will follow You; but let me first go bid
them farewell, which are at home at my house. Jesus said to him, No
man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for
the
kingdom of God.
(parallel passage Matthew 8:19-22)
Matthew
8:14-18, 19-22 Jesus came into Peter's house, Peter saw his
wife's mother lying there, sick with a fever. Jesus
touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and
ministered to them. When the even was come, they brought to Him many
that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His
word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which
was spoken by Esaias the prophet (Isaiah 53:4, 1Peter 2:24), saying,
Himself took our infirmities, and bare (carried)
our
sicknesses*.
*Mans
true sickness is being separated by sin and death from God our
Father, we are estranged sons and daughters with hostility within our
vary soul and our flesh.
When
Jesus saw the great multitudes that had gathered, He gave commandment
to depart to the other side. A certain scribe came, and said to Him,
Master, I will follow you where so ever You go. Jesus said to him,
The
foxes have holes, and the birds of the air
have
nests;
but the Son of man has no where to lay
His
head.
Another of His disciples said to Him, Lord, suffer me first to go and
bury my father. Jesus said to him, Follow
Me; and let the dead (those
separated from the Father are counted as being dead, part of the
secret of Genesis
3:15)
bury their dead.
In
this parallel passage there is nothing mentioned about either the
kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of God but still it is a parallel
passage because of the phrase, “to follow Me”. This phrase
has caused many misconceptions due to mans lack of understanding.
