The Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God

Luke 10:1-12, 13-16 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before His face into every city and place, where He Himself was going to come. Therefore He said to them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers few: pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send laborers into His harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. Whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. In the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: And heal the sick that are therein, say to them, The kingdom of God is come nigh to you. But whatever city you enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: moreover be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near you. I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

Woe to you, Chorazin! woe to you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you. And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell. He that hears you hears Me; and he that despises you despises Me; and he that despises Me despises Him that sent Me. (parallel passage Matthew 11:20-24, we must keep in mind that all this is tied to the kingdom of heaven and God. So that being correct and true when Jesus said, those who hear you hear Me, and also said, that those who despise you despise Me and He that sent Me, is saying that we have the ability or right, power to speak what He tells us. Because He is the Lord of the Harvest who sends out His laborers. Here again there are limitations imposed on us as there are qualifications also imposed on us. These are the rules, and laws of the kingdom.)

Luke 11:14-23 He was casting out a devil, and it was dumb (mute); when the devil (demon, evil spirit) was gone out, the dumb (mute) spoke; and the people wondered. But some of them said, He casts out devils (demons, evil spirits) through Beelzebub the chief (ruler) of the devils (demons, evil spirits). Others, tempting (to test) Him, sought of Him a sign from heaven. But He, knew their thoughts, said, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falls. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keeps his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and divides his spoils. He that is not with Me is against Me: and he that gathers not with Me scatters. (parallel passages Matthew 12:22-30, Mark 3:20-27, the question here then is are we with or against Him? And the key is the word "with". Webster's 1828 Dictionary says this: With, in composition, signifies for the most part opposition, privation; or separation, departure. With and by are closely allied in many of their uses, and it is not easy to lay down a rule by which their uses may be distinguished.)

Luke 12:22-34 He said to His disciples, Therefore I say to you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat; neither for the body, what you shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are you better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If you then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say to you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? And seek not what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, neither be of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knows that you have need of these things. But seek the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added to you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that you have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches, neither does moth corrupt. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (parallel passage Matthew 6:25-34, within this text we find that we are to one take no thought of life, two that life is more than our thoughts, third that we are not to be mindful which is to be doubtful in mind, and fourthly to seek the kingdom rule of God above all others things of our minds imagination which is doubtfulness and why is this all so? Because it is the Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom, as the treasure of our heart.)
