So Moses was the first prophet to
reveal the promise to Israel but this fact had been hidden because it
had been lost or purposely removed from the record. Genesis 3:21
reveals that the animal's blood was indeed that of a lamb, and that
lamb as in the Lord's Passovers and indeed the second Passover just before Israel left Egypt when the death angel destroyed the first born of all the land of Egypt, both man and beast. From those first brought about for
Israel's practice of worthship were but shadows of what was to come
through Jesus the Messiah, as the Son of man the Light which shown in darkness. But the blood of the animals
(Genesis 3:21, 14:18; Exodus 12:13, 22; 23:18) had no lasting effect
upon those who practiced this blood letting as this was only an image
or shadow of Christ's sacrifice. Just as Abraham's offering of Isaac
and remember Isaac did not squeal like say a pig does but was silent
as a lamb and of course this was a type of Christ. Just as the wood
laid out may have also been in a figure of a cross on the alter of
the rock. The every rock upon which the Temple of Jerusalem would one
day be built. And He as our mediator takes us through that which He
has done, as our captain and chief, through which also Paul had to
pass to acquire the second blessing. Newness of Life from the death, as
the seed placed by God within all mankind, the fullness of the earths kingdoms, requires our having passed
through this death to give us Eternal Life, now restored within the
Everlasting Covenant, which again Genesis 3 reveals.
Hebrews 13:20-21
“Now the God of peace,
that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd
of the sheep (relating only to Israel as the prophet Enoch for told), through the blood of the everlasting covenant (found in Genesis 3:15, 21, not as amny have wrongly supposed in Genesis 12, because they overlook the word "nations"), Make you
perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which
is well pleasing in his sight (becoming children of Light, the seed of woman, spiritually reunited to God the Father of spirits), through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory
for ever and ever. Amen.”
God's perfect Will, our
carrying the cross ever before us, ever on our minds as it was
Jesus'. This is the place of our greatest humility and contriteness
of heart. The very place of our bruising of the head of the serpent in the voice of the flesh of deceit and all deception our own flesh. Our willingness to submit to God's Will by our giving to
Him our self will or self-sufficiency and all that resists Him, as enmity.
The very place of our victory over sin and Satan's influence, while
we remain in Christ, the Life of God in mans soul in Love, Truth, through Grace and Faith. And we call to remembrance our sacrifices in Him
and our being conjoined to Him in the power of an Endless Life, His
Life now Lived in us and through us. So the cup and the blood of our
LORD, we are to share with Him by death and through the passing
through many things along with this death we acquire the promised
power of an Endless Life in Him. The imperishable Man of the renewed and restored spirit which was hidden within our soul. And known only to God, but had
been spoken of by Moses first and rejected by Israel while in the
wilderness which became of sin to them. Which we now know exasperated God.
At
the close of Paul's recital of 1 Corinthians 11:23-32 we find a
warning for those who partake in an unworthy
manor and by doing so exasperate God again,
by not properly discerning of the Lord's body and our being one in
Him. “Wherefore whosoever shall
eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be
guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine
himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For
he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation
to himself, not discerning the Lord's body (the Light, spiritual unity of our own Life restored within us as revealed Truth). For this cause many are
weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge
ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are
chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the
world.”
All of us have in some way
taken of the Lord's Last Supper in an unworthy manor because we've
followed the traditions of the Orthodoxy of man and his religion. However when we
allow the Holy Spirit to minister the Truth of this all important
matter we begin to get a clearer picture of understanding and the vital revelation of our own spiritual Life. All is
about Christ and His being called out from His place of the ages to
come and complete God's plan. For the purpose of restoring man to his
rightful place. But until that becomes a fact of life in and on this
planet, the voice of mans flesh rules mans soul. This planet is in a constant state of battle between the powers of darkness in mans
flesh and the son's of Light though few in number. But we're not left to
our own devices we have the host of heaven on our side, so we're to
stand in faith to wait and see the Salvation of the LORD.
Romans 11:19-21
“Thou wilt say then,
The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well;
because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith.
Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural
branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.”
