This mystery is revealed through progressive revelation of Christ which His ontological essence restored within our soul begins to unravel to us as He did Paul. I say Paul, because he is included among the ancients, that is to say with the Prophets. These include Enoch, Noah, Moses, King David and the rest of those quoted in scripture, by none other then Peter himself. But Peter also tells us that many of these mysteries are hard to comprehend or understand because they deal mainly with our spirit man now quickened by the essence of Christ within us. Then it says that "if we have not this essence we are none of His" paraphrased. Which means simply we will not understand all things now made known to the spiritual man. This is also confirmed by the words of the Lord Jesus Himself in His many teachings on the kingdom of heaven and of God which was about to become a living reality among men, during His ministry to Israel. First to the nation of select people, Israel, to receive His gospel of kingdom renewal as foretold through the prophets but misunderstood by the very people to whom He was sent. This is also revealed in the ancient scriptures because of the hardness of heart that held Israel in its diabolical grip of unbelief.
With each Epistle of Paul's writings he brings out more spiritual understanding in the context of these letters which minister Life to our hears, when heard by or through the ontological essence of Christ within our restored and renewed soul, known as the heart of man from which flows the issues of Life. This Life only excises within those who have become receptive of Him as revealed by the Prophets.
When these are heard as they are meant to be by God we soon learn that there is but Only One Way to God, through Christ Jesus.
Philippians: a new and updated study outline
Chapter 1
In Philippians we find the term which has three verses and 11 matches found in it in reference to this one phrase, “the day of Christ”. Which is not to be confused with the term of “the day of the Lord”. Because the term, “the day of the Lord” means the day of judgment for all mankind and indeed the world held in sin by and through deception. The term “the day of Christ” on the other hand is in reference to "the day that the day star arises within our heart", as Peter states it, in 2Peter 1:19. Keeping in mind that the term of “the day of” is a simple division of time, like the use of the semi-colon (; and colon : are used as a delimiter). When we do a study in a good reference Bible we will find such related passages as follow, 1Cor. 1:8 is one of them which states this beginning at verse 4 through 9; “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing you are enriched by Him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ is confirmed in you: So that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by (through) Whom you were called to the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” From here look at Acts 24 and verse 16 which states this through Paul's own words: “Herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.” This is in relationship with John 15 verses 1-4, 5-6, 7-8 which states this from the Lord's own words; “I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman. Every branch in Me that bears not fruit He takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, He purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can you, except you abide In Me.
I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides In Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing. If a man abides not In Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
If you abide In Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you. Herein is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be My disciples.”
As stated through the revelation of the parable of the fig-tree we find this is true by our acquiring the understanding of the term and title of “LORD” also reveals this to be true also. The term “In Me” is a marriage and relational term which is revealed in Genesis 2:21-24.
This
phrase is repeated again in verses 6 and 10 below and then again in
chapter 2 verse 16 as we shall see as move on in Philippians. I have
said before that from Galatians forward Paul reveals more of the
secrets of Christ as progressive revelation which had been hid by God
from mans understanding throughout the old Jewish dispensational
period wherein all things were pointed toward Israel until its
appointed end. If we are indeed called to fellowship with Christ
Jesus we are not called to judgment with the world, mans
government/economy and mans religion because we have already been
judged. First by our selves (which by the way Israel failed to do on
a national and individual level except for a few, a remnant which
Paul also addresses in Romans 11 and 12), where we have found
ourselves then wanton, bankrupt, naked and unworthy of Grace. Where
Grace is the benefit of our benefactor the LORD. Then a second time
again in the judgment of our failures as we allow the working out of
our Salvation, because within it God perfects Christ character within
us (as our benefit) in the rising of the day star in our heart. The
beginning of all of these activities are heard in the LORD's High
Priestly prayer of John 17.
