Because man had chosen to go this route, this disposition of enmity was a confirmed disposition. Man was so thoroughly locked into it that he could not rescue himself from it. Only the redemptive work of God could accomplish such a rescue.
In addition to spiritual death, man became subject to disease, deformity, accidents, and physical death. The woman was cursed with pain in childbirth and with the desire to rule the man though she was given to man as his help meet and taken from him. The ground was cursed, thereby making man's work of growing food much more difficult. Man lost his perfect environment. Because man followed Satan's lead to rebel against God's rule, Satan was able to usurp the rule of the world system away from God temporarily. Instead of living in a world system ruled by the benevolent God. Who loved him, man was doomed to live in a world system dominated by a tyrant who would use man for his own selfish ends.
In the midst of this dismal tragedy, at the end of the first dispensation God gave a ray of hope. In Genesis 3:15 He pronounced the first promise of the Redeemer. Who would be born of woman into the world during the course of history. As God progressively worked out His purpose for history, two of the great things which He would accomplish through the Redeemer would be the provision of redemption for fallen man and the defeat of Satan. The rest was hidden from mans view and understanding.
[1Cor. 15:45-49 It is written, "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. It is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven. [Genesis 1:26-28, 2:7-9; 5:3]
John 3:5-8 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, you must be born anew. The wind blows where it will, and thou hears the voice thereof, but knows not whence it cometh, and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
John 3:31-34 He that comes from above is above all: he that is of the earth is of the earth, and of the earth he speaks: he that comes from heaven is above all. What he has seen and heard, of that he bears witness; and no man receives his witness. He that hath received his witness hath set his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaks the words of God: for he gives not the Spirit by measure.
Philip 3:18-19 For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
Philip 3:20-21 For our citizenship is in heaven; whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.
Rom 8:29-30 For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Rom 1:19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.]
In Genesis 4:3-7 God accepted Abel’s blood sacrifice but rejected Cain’s bloodless sacrifice. This implies that the special revelation which God gave to man for the second dispensation was that man was to approach God only by means of a blood sacrifice (cf. Heb. 11:4). Sinful man, no matter how sincere, could not come to God in his own way. He could come only in the one way that God had ordained
Gen 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
[Seth carries on in place of Abel (righteous) who Cain the earthy man killed. Seth is the father of Noah, Noah is the father of Shem, Shem is the great grand father of Eber a relative of Abram, [Who will become known as Abraham, a note of interest God changed Abram by adding the letter “H” to his name, this letter is the Hebrew symbol in their alphabet for grace because it is in faith that Abraham was counted righteous.] as found in the book of Jasher in it, it is told that Abram [at the age of ten] stayed with Noah and Shem to learn the ways of the Lord for twenty-nine years. Shem is the king of Salem and the high priest of the "el-yon," Most High, "el" God, the gentile rendering for Elohim. His heirs will become the children of Israel who will become the nation of promise through whom God will come in the flesh or the humiliation of man as Immanuel, Jesus the Messieh of Israel. And Paul will show by revealed revelation to be the redeemer of the world. In another study of Moses he receives another word name or title for El, also his name has important revelation for us as well.]
Now from that which is said in the above we find that because of the fall, man now has two natures at work within him. The first is the bestial nature that is seen in the world around us, exhibited in our environment, and the nature of all animal and plant life and is called sin because it came from death, in man separated humanity from his creator which is death. This is to be set a part from Christ or God and is ultimately eternal separation from Elohim. This death as seen above is both physical and spiritual for those who as we will soon see do not choose to act upon the word. The second nature is laid dormant or hid as a seed of the Creator God within us, as also revealed above, which requires the work of our own free will to allow the Word, truth, light, and the Spirit to work their power within us. When these works have had their perfect work we are said to be born again, redeemed and have been put into salvation or are eligible for salvation the hope of our calling out to join the Lord in the air. This salvation does require our obedience and daily working with the word and the Spirit through the study of the word learning to rightly divide it, to the putting of it in proper order of epochs (seasons and times) and dispensations for our understanding. In order to grow in love and obedience to the Spirit of God this is Christ within us through the knowledge of His will in all things. The power or authority is the Essence of Grace or the Spirit of Christ and is the New Covenant of God's Grace which we become a part of, more on this else where. In this process of maturing we will be tried or tested which helps us to grow from glory to glory onto the perfect man in Christ for this we are required to take on the mind of Christ having a willingness to suffer the lost of all earthly things. As the lust or love of the thing is greater than our first love as He is invisible to us and the things are visible but only temporal in nature in that they perish with use or corrode (rot) with the lack of use.
John 3:3, 5-7 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, [of a truth] I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.’”(Special note when one receives the revelation of Moses name and other events in his life the importance of this passage becomes clear.)
1Cor 15:1-8 Now I would remind you, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.
Gal 1:11-12 I would have you know, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
(Now this is our Gospel for our salvation and redemption, which is not the gospel of Israel’s salvation as found in Matthew through John or the first ten chapters of Acts. Which is what many teach and preach; the gospel of the kingdom of heaven for the bases of their salvation though they are not Israel or even a Jew. Those who put their trust in this gospel have been deceived and are still in their sin, as that gospel has no power to save in this dispensational period. As it was for only Israel until they rejected it for the third time, this is found in chapter seven of Acts.)
Mat 7:24-29 Every one therefore that hears these my words, and does them, shall be like to a wise man that built his house upon a rock, and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on a rock. Every one that hears these words and does them not, shall be like a foolish man that built his house upon the sand, and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.
It came to pass when Jesus had fully ended these words; the people were in admiration at his doctrine. [teaching] He was teaching them as one having power, and not as the scribes and Pharisees.
[Jesus Christ is the rock the sure foundation upon whom all things are constructed, see Genesis 1. Even nature and the nature of all things is subject to Him. Those who reject the cornerstone, upon which the house is built Jesus Christ, reject Christ the creator of all things and who holds all things together by His word. These are the enemies of the blood and the cross of Christ who will become His footstool. Jesus in His earthly ministry saved the lost and is the action of this salvation they were healed and forgiven of sins power over them many though were not aware of the action of God upon them and returned to their old life style. Totally unaware of what they had other than their healing.]
Eph 1:9 Making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him.
Eph 3:9 To make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages had been hid in God who created all things.
Eph 1:15-21 For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, [Who is among you? Yeshua] and the love [the very nature and character of God, agape-LOVE] which is toward all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him; having the eyes of your heart [soul] enlightened, [opened as from a deep sleep] that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints is, and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward [When we accept our redemption on His terms He takes us away from Satan and his influence over us.] who believe, according to that working of the strength of His might which HE wrought in Christ, when HE raised Him from the dead again and made Him to sit at HIS right hand in the heaven lies, far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
[This divine light causes the new birth of God’s seed that is dormant inside all flesh of man from Eve on when received as Mary received the in grafted word that brought forth the body of Jesus. The power from on high that brings in the light which causes a regenerated life where there was only death because of sin. A seed does not bring forth new life until it first dies [this is what happened to Israel’s fathers and prophets] and the out ward shell is broken, then the sprout, then the blade, then the stalk and then the bud and then the seed in the bud.]
Col 1:9-17 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, to all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made us meet [fit or able, acceptable] to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; (receptive ones) who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of HIS Love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; for in Him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through Him, and to Him; and He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. [Genesis 1, 2, and 3]
[Their FAITH comes from the preaching of the cross and the finished work of it. This is a complete understanding because in it there is great FAITH, Power and LOVE. This translation is a fact and it is past tense a done deal it was done without our even knowing that it was taking place we had no physical sensation of it, a quite super power. The very power that raised Christ Jesus from the grave and caused new life to flow in Him as it does in us. We are now waiting it’s reality by the taking away of the Body of Christ into His salvation.]
1Cor. 2:4-14 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, [worldly intellectualism] but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, [Again the worldly intellectualism, which requires signs wonder and miracles of power.] but in the power of God. We speak wisdom, however, among them that are full-grown:[mature in the knowledge of God or in His completion] yet wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to naught: but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that had been hid, which God foreordained before the worlds to our glory: which none of the rulers of this world had known: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory: as it is written, things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, and which entered not into the heart of man, whatsoever things God prepared for them that love Him. But to us God revealed them through the Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, and the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man, save [except] the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so the things of God none knows save [except] the Spirit of God. We received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Spirit teaches; combining Spiritual things with spiritual. Now the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged. [Accepted, understood, and discerned.]
[The power which causes the new birth from above because of the truth and the light of life that this Gospel of Grace brings to its believer. This is not the same Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven that Christ brought to Israel and the Jew during His first advent. The enemy of God is the spirit of the world, reasoning’s as those ruled by their fleshly lusts and carnal minds or limited understandings and the knowledge of man in mans intellectualism.]
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.
(This is like a young woman that marries a young man and takes to herself his name, she becomes known by his name, she is identified in his name. She is said to be one with him, “bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh.” She is clothed with him and over time they begin to actually look alike and think alike.)
Rom 8:5-9 They that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit mind the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life [eternal life in Christ] and peace: [peace with God because we become sanctified by God] because the mind of the flesh is enmity [hostile toward God and full of wrath] against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be: and they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But we are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. If any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.
[The mind of the flesh is earthy, carnal, natural, beastly, and practical and they depend on their reasoning power and make void the word of God and the power of God. In this action they put the Lord Jesus to death a new each day. The unsaved are those who have not suffered the regeneration of Christ. Those who have willingly suffered the discipline of the cross of Christ have therefore become His disciples and followed Him in the regeneration through that discipline of the cross and the deigning of self-will and self-love with its covetousness and lawlessness with wrath.]
Rom 8:10-11 If Christ is in you, the body is dead [crucified with Christ] because of sin; but the spirit is life [quickened, regenerated to His likeness in light, life and love] because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through His Spirit that dwells in you.
[The power that raised Christ is the power that enables us to be an over comer while still in the flesh and places us in the departure of the mystical Body of Christ the beginning of the day of the Lord. As found in 2 Thes. 2:2-3 where the apostasy or falling away is mentioned, both of these are wrong renderings for the word that was used in those Bibles printed prior to 1700 have “departure” which is the more correct word.]
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished”: and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.
[All that He was sent to do was then finished for all who would come to trust in His Faith, in Him that is to be a part of His Body to have His nature regenerated in us. This nature was lost by Adam, for if Adam did not have this nature of Christ then Christ could not have been the second Adam and we could not become born again. The mystery hid in God from before the foundation of the world. Which no natural man can understand because he tries to reason a thing out, God requires us to simply believe and accept it.]
Rom 8:14-17 As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. You received not the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God: and if children, [sons] then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, [in His humiliation and crucifixion] that we may be also glorified with Him.
[How was He glorified, and when was He glorified? It is our salvation from the wrath to come as members of His Body.]
Rom 8:18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. [In us]
Col 3:4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
2Thes 2:14 To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Thes 1:5-12 This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering--- since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of His calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 16:25-27 Now to Him that is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept in silence through times eternal, [before Adam was created] but now is manifested, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known to all the nations to obedience of faith:[this is Jesus' faith as seen elsewhere in Romans 3:22; Galatians 2:16, 3:22] to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ever.
[My Gospel is the preaching of the cross and faith in His death, burial for the three days and three nights in the earth, and His resurrection and our being in Christ during His suffering as the Lord’s Table tells us. We share in His cup of affliction and are members of His broken body. See 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 the Gospel, (the Gospel of God’s Grace, His Gospel, the Gospel of Christ) 1 Corinthians 11:23-27 the cup and the bread as found in Matthew 26:26-30, Luke 22:15-20.]
2Pet 3:15-16 Count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you [the letter to the Hebrews] according to the wisdom and knowledge given him, as he does in all his letters [Romans through Philemon] when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, [the mysteries] which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.
[The old testament, Genesis through Acts 11, the religious Jew had nothing to do with a Gentile and for God to have turned to the Gentiles with a message of Grace and Faith a lone was totally beyond them and their mind set or comprehension was in the works of the Law as required of them as their religious leaders directed.]
Eph 3:2-7 Assuming that you have heard of the stewardship [dispensation, or administration is given for a period of time] of God's grace that was given to me for you, how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations [dispensations of time] as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of His power.
[These are not the Prophets of the Old Testament but rather the followers of Christ’s discipline as Paul was and imitators of Paul as he was of Christ. As Paul had stated and required of his followers in order for them to be a pastor or minister of the mysteries. The mystery revealed that the Gentiles are heirs and co-heirs or members of the Body of Christ and are subject to His redemption and salvation or departure as He departed in His ascension. These are our requirements also.]
[1Cor 14:1 Follow after LOVE; yet desire earnestly spiritual gift, but rather that you may prophesy. This is the proclaiming of the Gospel of the Grace of God revealed in the mysteries, which only the apostles and prophets of Paul knew and understood, such as Priscilla and Aquila in Acts 18]
Rom 8:9-13 You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life [quickened or a live] because of righteousness. If the Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through His Spirit that dwells in you. So then, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh: for if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.
[The body is dead or counted as dead when the discipline of the cross has had its perfect work in you. Those who mind the things of the flesh and do these things are not part of the mystical Body of Christ and will not be part of those of the departure. These will see the white throne judgment and the second death the lake of fire reserved for the devil and his comrades. To live by the Spirit this is to follow the Lord through the discipline of the cross, to take up your cross daily and put to death the lusts of the flesh and the deeds of unrighteousness.]
Rom 8:14-18 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you received not the spirit of bondage again to fear; [This is the death of the earthy and their judgment.] but you received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God: and if children, [sons] then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, [This is known as having the mind of Christ, which also requires our setting our thoughts on the things above where we are seated with Christ at the right hand of God.] that we may be also glorified with Him [the word with is a relationship word denoting union, in Him]. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward.
[That is His death, burial and resurrection and for our faith in the revealed understanding of all that was finished on the cross. This is not by works but rather by faith in the finished work of the cross and our being a part of Him on that tree. To be glorified is the taking out of the Body of Christ a mystery. ]
Rom 15:8-9 I say that Christ has been made a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm [fulfill, that is of His coming as prophesied] the promises given to the fathers, and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, therefore will I give praise to you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name.
[The confirming of the promises is Christ’s ministry work and assignment before the cross. Peter in 2 Peter 3:15-16 is saying that Paul carries the authority to the Gentiles as Moses carried in his ministry to Israel. Paul says a similar thing in Ephesians 3:8.]
Eph 3:8-12 To me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; and to make all men see what is the [fellowship of this] dispensation of the mystery which for ages had been hid in God who created all things; to the intent that now to the principalities and the powers in the heaven lies might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in Him.
[The principalities and powers are not the fallen angels that are being held in the bowls of the earth in thickness and darkness waiting for the final judgment. The church here is the Body of Christ that is not in division or denominationalized as we see in the church of the world today. There is no power or presence of God or the working of the Kingdom of God in such institutions. They do not fit the requirements revealed for the Body of Christ. They have nothing to do with the mysteries or the teachings of Paul and because of this as Peter says they bring destruction on themselves.]
1Cor. 4:1-2 Let a man so account of us, as of ministers of Christ, and stewards [an overseer or an administrator] of the mysteries of God. Here, moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.
[This is what each member of the spiritual Body of Christ is to be doing in their daily life; it is their conversation or life style. We are required to have a full working knowledge of these secrets.]
1Cor. 4:16 I beseech you therefore, be imitators [learn from me] of me.
1Cor. 11:1 Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.
[Paul in Acts 22:19-21 had direct communications with the Lord.]
John 1:6-8 There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John. [John the Baptist] The same came for witness, that he might bear witness of the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, [John the Baptist] but came that he might bear witness of the light.
[Jesus Christ is the light that passed through the earth in creation as recorded in Genesis the light that gave life to man. See Genesis the untold store.]
John 1:9 There was the true light, the light which lights every man, [how many?] coming into the world.
Rom 1:18-21 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness; because that which is known of God is manifest in them; [The spiritual seed deposited in them in Genesis 2-3] for God manifested it to them. [All of nature bears witness to this fact.] For the invisible things of Him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, His everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse: because that, knowing God, they glorified Him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasoning’s, and their senseless heart was darkened.
[All ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth here we see the institutions of religious ceremony that fall under the form of the Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes of the Jewish religion of Jesus’ day. There’s no room for debate salvation is available to all for God is no respecter of persons all mankind carries this seed in themselves, it is our free will choice to except or reject His Grace.
The whole of humanity from Cain on; all earthy, natural, carnal mankind will experience this wrath with a few exceptions: the spiritual man or woman who have turned from the vain things of the world.]
Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world; looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to Himself a people for His own possession, zealous of good works.
[The works of love done as He directs them in love and obedience in His will as a loving son does what his father tells him.]
Eph 3:3-5 How that by revelation was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in few words, whereby, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ; which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit.
[These prophets are the men that follow Paul’s teachings and that are imitators of him as he is of Christ, i.e. Timothy, Barnabas etc.. These are not of the twelve or their group, at the first even after their meeting in Jerusalem found in Acts 15:1-29 and Galatians 2:1-10. Study Peters letter 2Peter 3:15 as shown above. ]
1Peter 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, [writing] to the elect who are sojourners [the scattered Jews] of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia.
[This dispersion is of both that which took place 600 years prior and when Saul was hunting down the followers of the way that ran from Jerusalem.]
1Peter 1:9-11 Receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls. Concerning which salvation the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come to you: searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ [The Holy Spirit or the angel of the Lord as He was called in the Old Testament is who Peter is addressing here.] which was in them did point to, when He testified beforehand [from Job up through Malachi] the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.
[The sufferings of Christ in His death, burial and resurrection, and the Heaven on earth or the Gospel the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus taught and spoke of in Matthew through Acts 2. The promises that had been given to the fathers starting with Abraham and the things that the prophets saw spoke of and wrote of by the spirit. See Isaiah 53:1-9 is just one example.]
Isa 53:1-9 Who has believed our message? To whom has the arm of God been revealed? For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: [this is in reference to Bethlehem] he had neither form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. [You do not know that He is a King.] He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our grief, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, [He was the Supreme SIN sacrifice.] he was bruised for our iniquities; [First for Israel then for the whole human race.] the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Yehovah has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he opened not his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off [put to death] out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people to whom the stroke was due? They made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
[He was despised and rejected, they did not know who He was even after three years of proof they did not know Him. He bore our grief and sorrows He carried the full load not only for Israel but for the whole world all of Gods wrath, He was the sacrifice for all. Him stricken and smitten the whipping and the betting given Him for all. And afflicted the work of the cross that was required by all He took upon Himself in love for all. With His stripes we are healed this is not dealing with the physical nature of man but rather mans spiritual aspect. We have turned every one to his own way they choose not to except Him because He was born in Bethlehem, grew up in Nazareth, worked the works of God for three years and they still did not know Him. He was oppressed speaking of the finished work of the cross. Now Israel had no understanding that this was speaking about their Messiah because their eyes were veiled to it. This is what Peter is making reference to, this and other passages.]
1Pet 1:12 To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced to you through them that preach the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.
[Remember to whom Peter is writing [the believing Jews that are scattered] and that he is a religious Jew under the Law that in his second letter he refers to Paul’s writings and tells these Jews that they are to study Paul’s letters to gain the spiritual understanding and full knowledge of God and His will for them.]
Col 1:12-17 Giving thanks to the Father, who made us meet [prepared us] to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins: who is the image of the invisible God, [ Yehsua, Immanuel, Jesus] the firstborn of all creation;[ Yeshua ] for in Him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through Him, and to Him; and He is before all things, [the pre-existent one] and in Him all things consist.
[We are in the Kingdom if in deed we follow Him in the discipline of His cross in order to enter into the finished work of His cross the narrow way of the regeneration. As Isaiah said by His stripes we are healed that is to receive salvation. He is the Elohim of creation the Christ that was in Adam prior to the fall, that Christ whom Adam crucified by his action of rejection or disobedience. Genesis 1-3 see Genesis the Untold Story.]
Col 1:18-19 He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. It was the good pleasure of the Father [The Godhead Elohim] that in Him [Jesus Christ, Elohim of creation and more.] should all the fullness dwell.
John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning God. [Elohim]
John 1:14 The Word [God, Yeshua, Immanuel] became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Heb 1:1-2 God, [Yeshua] having of old time spoken to the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners, has at the end of these days spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.
[Christ’s first advent is the last days of Old Testament scripture because His coming was the end of the dispensation or the completion of the promises of His coming given to Israel. The people through whom God had chosen to bring in the redeemer, the seed of woman.]
To Paul a lone was this revelation given who the Son of Man and God the Son is. No one else in human history could have taken upon himself all that Paul reveals about the Son. When you realize that on Him was laid all Sin and that He was made to be Sin and that all the wrath and chastisement of God [Elohim] was laid upon Him. Had He been any less than who He is He could not have handled it. God [El, Elohim-Yeshua] Himself took upon Himself what was ours.
Question: Why and how did our Holy Jesus become our great redeemer?
Because, and only because, as a son of fallen man Adam, Jesus came into this temporal nature as head and fountain to lead the whole human race through the process of redemption back into the eternal nature to be seated at the right hand of God in Christ. This process is a requirement for everyone. To be a true disciple and true Christian one must follow Jesus through the proper gates, to inherit His conquering nature and eternal life. One must strongly desire this life and be willing to pass through these gates which are:
• Incarnation (the piercing or splitting of the seed in the soul)
• passion (the agony of separation from the spirit of the world)
• death (to the spirit of the world and its lusts)
• resurrection (the victorious new birth of Christ in you, your hope of glory)
• ascension into heaven (being taken out as a member of the mystical Body of Christ, to meet Him in the air to forever be with Him)
This meeting Him in the air is “The Day of the Lord” a trigger for the tribulation and revealing of lawlessness.
Until one knows and understands just what it was that Adam lost in the fall, one can never really know true redemption and salvation that for now remains open to us. This is not a "one time shot" of speaking some prayer, believing that Jesus died and rose again. But rather, is a daily walk through these gates and the true carrying of your cross daily and the putting to death those passions and lusts of the world and their deadly system of deception. Continually staying on this narrow path that Jesus said, "Many there are that are called, but few are chosen." This meaning it's our choosing to be a doer of the word and not a hearer only. It's our choice to choose this eternal life or eternal death, it’s our choice to walk and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, this is not a works as in some sort of working as one may do for a living. It is however the putting to death each day the things as lusts, pride, envy, boasting, malice, stiff and other natural, carnal evils. He made the way for us to follow Him. He told His disciples that they which follow Him through the regeneration, when He sits in the throne of His glory, they would also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. This was strictly for Israel; however, we all have to walk through this process of regeneration of redemption. There is NO other way!!
Spiritual Salvation is by God alone (grace) thru believing (faith) (Eph. 2:8-9) in Christ alone (Rom. 6:23). This governing rule will never be set aside. Spiritual death that became a reality happened at the Fall. Rom. 2:16; Heb. 11:4; Gen. 3:15; 4:7. See Rom. 3:23-27 where faith in the shed blood of Christ on the cross; i.e., propitiation for the sins of the whole world provides justification unto eternal life and brought a-one-ment into play for all..
Since the sole condition on the part of the individual is to receive eternal life is to trust alone Christ and since the sole condition of condemnation unto the Lake of Fire, i.e., since the only thing that gets you condemned to hell is not ever trusting alone Christ as Savior and since disobeying the gospel of salvation gets you condemned to hell then disobeying the gospel of salvation is the same thing as disbelieving it. One can disobey by doing something 'out of the line of the authority that you are under' and one can also disobey by believing something out of line.
All scripture is from the KJV, Weymouth New Testament, American Standard and English Standard Versions of the Bible with only a few changes in form for easier reading of today’s English.
